Description
An exploration of the life and times of Bob Noonan (known to many as Robert Tressell, author of "The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists"). This discussion event will also reappraise the work of Tressell's biographer, Fred Ball, an amateur historian from Hastings who devoted much of his life to furthering our understanding of Noonan, the world's first working-class novelist. Talk and discussion led by Stuart Borthwick of the Liverpool School of Art and Design at Liverpool John Moores University
